We started this company to take the anxiety out of grading.
Have you ever submitted a card you knew should grade a Gem Mint 10, only to get it back as an 8 — with no explanation you could actually see? Was the grader having a bad day? We’ve all watched the videos of the same card passed around to a dozen grading houses and getting a different grade from each one. Frankly, we got tired of it.
So we built a grading company for the true hobbyist and collector — one that removes the worry and the financial gamble from the process.
Our mission
Provide fair, accurate grades, show our work, and let you decide what to do next. It’s simple:
- You fill out a form and ship your cards with a prepaid return label.
- We grade them for a flat $1 per card.
- We tell you the grade — and if a card came in under a 10, we show you photo evidence of why.
- If you like the grade, we’ll protect and label it for a fair price. If you don’t, we ship everything back as we received it, no extra charge.
We never charge more based on the value of your card. And if a card grades below 10, we offer a discounted price to slab it — or you can have it protected without a grade at all.
Built on transparency, fairness, and quality
We come from the medical-device manufacturing industry, where quality and precision aren’t optional. No one’s life is on the line in card grading — but we brought that same level of process control and attention to detail to every card we handle, so the product you get back is genuinely top-notch.
Independent — and proud of it
The grading world is consolidating fast: Collectors Holdings now owns both PSA and SGC and is acquiring Beckett (BGS), leaving few truly independent options. PCG is independently owned and operated by hobbyists. We answer to collectors, not to a holding company.
A note we believe in being upfront about: because PCG is newer, our slabs don’t yet carry the secondary-market recognition the legacy graders have built over decades. What we offer instead is honest, accurate grading with zero financial gamble, and real protection for the cards you love. That’s where we’re earning trust, one card at a time.
